I decided to be a little brave this year and booked a stall at the Banbury & District Show 2013 at the Spiceball Park.  After a couple of weeks of some quite intense creating the day dawned and while it started out a tad cloudy the forecast was good.  Everything was packed up the night before and we were ready to go.  My daughter Romana was enlisted as my helper for the day and she was offering some of her memory wire bracelets for sale.

We arrived in good time and set to work to get the stall ready.  As those who know me can testify I don’t do white, never, not ever and so my cloth was a gorgeous black textured velvet.  I know that isn’t the norm for craft stalls but I’m not ‘normal’ lol 🙂

We worked hard and by about 10.30am we were just about ready to go 🙂  We had a market traders size stall for the day and we were able to make full use of the room which was fantastic 🙂

Here are a few photos of our stall…

We both thought it looked lovely and we attracted quite a lot of interest.

It was a really lovely day, the weather was lovely even though it was a bit chilly in the morning and I’d accidentally left my jacket in the car 😦  But it warmed up later.  There was an awful lot going on and we both had a little time to have a wander round and have a look at the rest of the attractions, events and stalls.

All in all we had a great day out in the sun and chances are we will be back again next year 🙂

Ok, so I’ve been really naughty the last few months and I’ve seriously neglected my blog 😦 but all that is about to change. I’ve got lots of new ideas and awful lot of things to tell you about but one thing at a time.

Summer, yep, summer! It’s on the way, I can feel it in my bones. Well, actually the finger tips which don’t get frozen every day on the way into work now. The sound of the bees buzzing and the birds twittering has cheered me up no end and I’ve got ideas galore buzzing round in my head.

Here is a bit of a taster.

Now, back to work 🙂

I’ve been quite excited about making Christmas decorations for months now (I think I need to get out more!!) and have made up quite a few of my ideas already.  I’ve got quite a few more ideas as well yet so expect more over the next month or so, but in the meantime here is a little show of the ones I’ve made so far 🙂

If you click on the photos you will be taken to my little Folksy Shop where you will find more information 🙂

I hope you like the ones I’ve shown so far and will post about the new ones I’ll be making as soon as they are ready for sale.
